Overview

The aims and objectives of the college is to provide teacher education course of study viz.,B.Ed & D.El.Ed to freshers and teachers who aspire to be professionally competent teachers as per the objectives of NCTE. The college also welcomes teacher trainees deputed by the secondary schools recognized by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or any other Board provided that the deputation be sanctioned by the Govt. of W.B or any appropriate authority. We also prepare teachers for middle, secondary and higher secondary levels. Our teachers try their best to give proper guidance to all the trainees for teaching the school students in different classes. They develop different teaching materials and methods and help the trainee teachers to develop themselves. The college is trying to adopt itself to the new way of thinking. All here at the college are earnestly trying to set a pedagogic goal that is highly learner-facilitating. With this aim in mind the college is successfully running since inception.
