Overview

The Pre-University Board of the Government of Karnataka has recognised this college, which is located on the Jakkur Campus, and contains all courses that follow the Pre-University Board`s rules. In this arrangement, students connect with students from Agragami Academic College and have the unique opportunity to broaden their knowledge spans in a variety of ways. Through seminars and discussions, we give ample opportunities for students to get a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of a number of topics. Through assignments and practice-oriented teaching in many technology domains, we ensure that students thoroughly comprehend ideas. We also take a unique approach to broadening their perspectives by holding inter-class and intra-class competitions in cultural and sporting activities. In-state, national, and international competitions, our students have received numerous trophies and prizes. Institution History: Agragami Group of Educational Institutions is wholly supported by J.C. Kala Educational & Cultural Trust (R) and Kakaday Santhuram Rao Lakshmi Bai Charitable Trust (R). In 1999 under the leadership of H.R Satishchandra, a group of like-minded Founders who were people of enterprise and innovation - practical dreamers - embodied in Agragami the concept of an educational institution delivering general and professional education to all classes of people. In 2002 VSM Aerospace, AME Training School which was established in 1993 by Gp Capt. C. Chandra Sekharan VSM joined with Agragami. Since its inception, Agragami experienced impressive growth, starting with 23 students and growing to over 2,800 students annually, enrolled in diversified courses in all the schools. Disclosure: J.C. Kala Educational and Cultural Trust is a registered organization established in Bangalore and recognized by the Government of Karnataka, India, Reg. No. 255/98-99 dated 11.02.1999. The Trust is run by highly qualified, experienced and dedicated intellectuals as Trustees. The government of India has also extended the concessions of exemptions U/s 80 G & 12A of the Income Tax Act. Facilities: Computer Center: The College has an information technology network with the latest technology. High-speed servers running on a variety of platforms to suit all kinds of requirements, support the entire network. The computer labs with broadband connectivity enable students to seamlessly complete their academic work as well as pursue research. Students can make the most of the Wi-Fi connectivity, which facilitates easy access to the Internet anywhere on the campus. Library: The latest books in Science, Business, Management and Commerce disciplines have been added to the library. Reference books are also provided. The issue of library books is regulated through library cards issued by librarians. If the borrowed books are not returned within the prescribed date, a fine of 50 paise per day will be levied for one week. If the books are not returned even within the week, the books will not be taken back and the student will have to pay three times the cost of the book. Reading room facilities are provided to the students with daily newspapers, weekly and monthly magazines and other important journals. Canteen: The cafeteria is a pleasant getaway from the hectic classroom sessions and caters to various regional delicacies. Students eat, relax and chat at our cafeteria. The dishes are well made, both in terms of taste and quality, owing to the fact that we have the best chefs, who are proficient in making South Indian as well as Chinese dishes. The rates in the canteen are affordable and the students come here to pacify their appetite. The college administration ensures quality food is being served to the students and carries out timely inspections. Hostel: The college has an exclusive hostel facility for men and women, which is located within walking distance of the campus. The hostel is supervised by the College administration and has a full-time warden. The hostel offers modern amenities and is neat and well maintained. Transport: The College has adequate buses which are made available to the students and the faculty members for commuting from various points in the city. This facility has made it possible to start the classes in time and thereby helping the academic process. Our bus facilities have enabled us to maintain discipline among students. Laboratories: Well-equipped laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, and Electronics. Microbiology, Botany, Zoology and Computer Science have been provided. Admission procedure: Documents to be submitted during admission: Application form duly filled. S.S.LC. Marks card. Transfer Certificate. Eligibility certificate for Non-S.S.L.C. Candidates issued by PUC education department. Character certificate issued by the institution last studied. Caste certificate in case of SC/ST/BCM. Rural study certificate. Migration certificates from their respective states. Three Passport size photos. Parent/Guardian must accompany the candidate for admission Admission timings: 9 am 4 pm Fee can be paid in Cash/Cheque or DD & can be submitted in favour of "JCKECT` Payable at Bangalore. The fee once paid will not be refunded. Separate Fees are collected for Books, uniforms, examinations etc.
