Overview

Teacher education has to become more sensitive to the emerging demands of the school system. For this, it has to prepare teachers for the role of being encouraging, supportive, and human facilitators in teaching-learning situations who enable learners (students) to discover their talent and to realize their physical and intellectual potentialities to the fullest. For this purpose Al-Barkaat Institute of Education (a Govt. approved Minority Institution, duly recognized by the N.C.T.E. Delhi and affiliated with Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Aligarh) is running the B.Ed. Program. We offer B.Ed. students a unique opportunity of engaging actively and thoughtfully with relevant issues in education. This style of engagement helps students to develop a reflective, exploratory and critical approach to learning, rather than a static acceptance of ideas and practices. A team of highly qualified teachers is here to train the B.Ed. students so that a proper goal can be achieved. We also offer a certain amount of individual mentoring by experienced mentors, in an effort to help students develop to the fullest.
