Overview
At Life Academy, we believe that education must be as natural and engaging an experience as learning to ride a bicycle or playing outdoors with friends is! Our constant aim therefore is to create spaces free from pressure and anxieties, where young minds can gradually blossom and grow confidently, through the ever-encouraging and positive ethos practised at school. In order to achieve this ambition, we embrace a composite and wholesome curriculum plan (not limited to a specific board or syllabus per se), which essentially caters to the unique needs and learning patterns of young learners. The system largely comprises and lends focus to four vital aspects of child development viz. acquiring relevant application-based knowledge, honing twenty first century skills, enhancing physical participation and instilling ageless moral values. Our teaching approach in essence stresses on working the students minds more critically and creatively through a host of concept enhancing techniques, thereby consciously working against limiting student mindsets from rote learning attitudes. Besides several co-curricular activities and skill development programs, regular physical participation through sports, martial arts and many team games provide the much-required balance and refreshment in the lives of our learners. Also instilling the notion of a supreme creator and respect towards the entire creation forms the guiding principle of our value education program! The format of child assessment at Life Academy, encompasses a broader scale of the child's growth and capabilities. Mere attention to topics or subject wise marks do not become the objects of concern or desire at our class rooms. Our rich and feedback-based student achievement model, effectively paves the path for the creation of various sought-after info-management skill-sets and modern-day competencies. To conclude, in an age where rapid change has become the only certainty, the need to transform and prepare our educational landscapes for the upcoming unknown world assumes pressing significance.
