Overview
Anand Arts College, Anand heralded a new era of higher education and opened new vistas of education in Anand town since it was the first college in the region set up way-back in 1963 – the first institution of Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal. The institute is affiliated to Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar as a recognized college under section 2(F) and section 12(B) of the U.G.C. Act. It is a grant-in-aid co-education college located at the centre of the Milk-city Anand. The college was honoured with The Best Arts College of Gujarat State Award way back in 1983-84 in view of its unique role and contribution in the spheres of education, culture and social regeneration. The institute has implemented the new curricula in line with NEP with its thrust on Indian Knowledge Systems and Skill Enhancement from the academic year 2023-24 as per the guidelines of the affiliated University and UGC. The institute offers B.A. degree course in 8 Subjects which include English, Hindi, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Economics, History, Psychology, and Sociology.
