ABOUT

Overview

SRKSM is catering to Healthcare-Educational-Social Services to the people of Anand and nearby villages for the more than six decades. Adopting the principle of Shri Ramkrishna Paramhans and his ardent disciple, Swami Vivekanand – “devotion towards humanity”, Late Shri G S Patel popularly known as Vakil Saheb took the initiative of social services and established Shri Ramkrishna Seva Mandal with the motto of “Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay” on 15th August, 1954. SRKSM’s first milestone was to provide free medical aid and treatment by establishing Matrumangalam, a family welfare center, Orthopedic Hospital, Anand Hospital were equipped with latest instruments and different departments in Homeopathy and Allopathy. The phase in which there was a need of medical and ambulance services in this area, SRKSM started the first ambulance facility, Orthopedic Service, Center for Maternity and Gynecological services as blessings for Anand City.
