Overview
(Affiliated to Pondicherry University & Approved by Bar Council of India) Established by Andaman & Nicobar Islands Legal Education Society (ANILES) Welcome to Andaman Law College (ALC). It has been established with a vision to offer legal education to the people of A & N Islands. The College is located on the picturesque Islands of Andaman & Nicobar and has emerged as a prominent centre of legal studies. It came into existence in 2016 under the aegis of Andaman and Nicobar Islands Legal Education Society (ANILES), a registered society under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The institution is fully funded by the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Administration & governed by its own rules and regulations. The ANILES is presided over by the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, who serves as the President of the Society. The Executive Council is chaired by the Chief Secretary, with the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Education) of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Administration acting as the Vice-Chairman.
