Overview

Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management , formerly known as Anjuman Engineering College, is the prestigious unit of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, which manages 16 institutions, and is recognized as one of the premier educational organizations in South India. AITM was established in 1980 as a Muslim minority institution and is currently positioned among the renowned technical institutions in Karnataka, with well-developed infrastructure and dedicated faculty. AITM is the only institution in North Canara, which offers a Master of Business Administration course at Visvesvaraya Technological University. Many students have achieved good ranks at the university level, and have been placed at reputed companies in India and abroad. It has a well-disciplined and conducive study environment with a 50 acre Wi-Fi campus, Masjid, and hostel with vegetarian and non-vegetarian boarding facilities. The departments of Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have been recognized as research centres under Visvesvaraya Technological University. Sincere efforts are on, imparting adequate skills to the students, enabling them to grow up to a globally competitive level and tackle the professional challenges in a multidisciplinary working environment. The college was founded in 1980 The institution has five undergraduate branches (Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Mechanical Engineering). College offer Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy. have over 50 faculty members, a number of whom are senior professors. faculty have research interests in a wide range of areas. 592 undergraduate students and 41 graduate students (as of July 2016). the campus is located at Anjumanabad, the main Anjuman campus. nearly 3000 square feet of interconnected labs, classrooms and offices. over 7,000 undergraduate and 100 postgraduate alumni. Faculty, students, staff, and alumni of AITM are served by the Exam Section of the AITM Office. We are dedicated to offering personal attention and prompt response. The AITM Library, which opened in 1980, is made up of a central library and seven departmental libraries that serve the Institute`s teaching, research, and extension programmes. By obtaining a library membership, all students, faculty members, and Institute staff are entitled to use the Library`s resources. The Library offers library services through its many sections, in addition to possessing a large collection of books on engineering, science, and humanities. Computerization of the Library: The Meshil Logic software package is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all of the Library`s in-house operations. Acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing, and OPAC are all modules in the Meshil Logic. More than 9,000 bibliographic records of books available in the Library can now be accessed through the Meshil Logic OPAC, thanks to a retrospective conversion of bibliographic records. The Library`s database of available books is updated on a daily basis with information on newly acquired books. The editing and updating processes are now ongoing.
