The late Padmashri Bhausaheb Vartak was a visionary par excellence and a devoted social worker. He founded the Vidyavardhini in 1970 as an institution to provide an opportunity to all students in the vicinity of Vasai an affordable quality college education which was the need of the our. Today Vidyavardhini has grown into an institute of repute with three Degree college, Engineering Degree College and B. V. Polytechnic offering Diplomas in various branches of Engineering. Under the able guidance of the Present President of Vidyavardhini Vikas Vartak, Vidyavardhini has taken big strides and carved for itself niche in Maharashtra as one of the best educational institution. The aim of the institution is to provide not only quality education but a holistic development of personality and make student a man of culture. It encourages students to excel not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities thus making them fully rounded personalities able to face the challenges of the world.
