Overview

The Asian Institute of Nursing Education (AINE), the first private nursing institute in Northeast India, was established by Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah, a renowned neurologist and visionary founder of the Affordable Health Mission and GNRC Hospital. AINE began its journey with a B.Sc. Nursing course in 2004 under the Institute of Neurological Sciences Trust, Guwahati, and has since expanded to include M.Sc. Nursing (2009), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (2011), the pioneering Nurse Practitioner in Critical Care program (2018), and the GNM course (2022). Recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council, AINE is affiliated with prestigious institutions like SNDT Women’s University and Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences. The institute has maintained a 100% placement record since its inception, with alumni excelling as Staff Nurses, Nursing Tutors, Community Health Officers, Nurse Educators, and Nurse Practitioners in State and Central Government institutions and leading organizations in India and abroad.
