Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AIPS) was established in the year 2005 under Avanthi Educational Society which is run by Sri.M. Srinivasa Rao, founder chairman, an educationalist, having three and half decades of extensive experience in encouraging and nurturing professional colleges. The college has been making remarkable and distinctive progress in Pharmacy education under the leadership of Smt. M. Gnaneshwari, chairperson. The Institute has achieved NAAC A+ with CGPA 3.28 accreditation for a period valid for 5 yrs from Dec 5th 2024 - Dec 4th 2029. Institution has applied for UGC 2(f) as per the norms of UGC Act,1956.It is an ISO-certified institute (9001:2015) and has MOUs with reputed pharmaceutical industries, Software companies, multi-Specialty hospitals, and is a well-known educational institution in and around Visakhapatnam & Vizianagaram.
