Overview

Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AIPS) established in 2007 under Avanthi Educational Society, is led by Sri M. Srinivasa Rao, an educationalist with over 35 years of experience, under the leadership of Smt. M. Gnaneshwari, chairperson, AIPS, has made significant strides in pharmacy education. AIPS is accredited with NAAC “A+” with CGPA 3.27 for five years up to September 11, 2029, and has obtained UGC 2(f) recognition. The institute offers B. Pharmacy and three PG programs: M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Analysis and Pharmaceutics) and Pharm.D. AIPS has 40 faculty members, including 7 doctorates, guiding over 450 students. It secures 100% admissions and 70% placements. The 2.5-acre campus features a 4660 sq. m. built-up area, 17 classrooms (ICT-enabled), and 17 laboratories. The 1,614 sq. ft. library houses 9297 books across 1132 titles and has access to DELNET, SOUTH ASIAN, and NDLI. AIPS is securing 100% admissions for B. Pharm, M. Pharmacy and Pharm.D programs. Institution has appreciable 70% placements in the Department of Pharmacy and Pharm.D program.
