Bangurnagar Pre-University College, Dandeli is one of the Premier Pre-University Colleges in Karnataka. The college is a part of the group of institutions run by Dandeli Education Society, (Regd.) sponsored by one of the largest Paper Mills in India, The West Coast Paper Mills, Limited. The institution is approved and recognised by the Pre-University Education Board of the Govt. of Karnataka. With its high academic standards and excellent results, the institution has already occupied a prominent and prestigious place in the educational map of Karnataka. The Institution has a team of well qualified, experienced and dedicated staff and has already produced many rank holders in the Board/CET examinations in the past. The college has a well equipped library, laboratories, playground and other useful amenities to cater to the needs of the students and staff. Individual subject enrichment coaching and attention to the poor students to bring them in line with their fellow competitive students are noteworthy features of this institution. Dandeli Education Society having established a number of institutions in the city of Dandeli which have identity as Quality Educational Institutions from Pre-primary to PG. Bangurnagar Composite PU College Dandeli has started 1971 with Arts and Commerce and from 1973 Science faculties. Within a short span of years, BNCPU has developed excellent infrastructural facilities and an academic climate to train the students to meet the challenges posed by rapid changing techno-economic scenario. The institution has an excellent, well qualified and experienced faculty. The Institute is located on a 5 acres campus.
