About BES Pre University College of Arts Commerce and Science

BES Pre University College of Arts Commerce and Science is a private college in Bangalore, Karnataka, established in 1972. Campusbells lists it under PUC/10+2, with courses including 11th & 12th (Science), 11th & 12th (Arts) and 11th & 12th (Commerce).

The BES Pre-University College is one of many educational institutions established and managed by BHARATH EDUCATION SOCIETY. It came into existence in 1972 with specific intention of providing quality education at PLUS Two level to students belonging particularly to socially and economically backward classes. The BES Campus which among other houses the BES PU College, is fairly well laid out with attractive, elegant buildings and lush green trees.

The Department of Pre-University Education has awarded A+ grade for the College. The college takes care of its students with fatherly affection. At the same time, it accepts its students to observe certain code of conducts laid down by the college.

The College insists upon regular attendance of the student. A student has to maintain 75% attendance in each subject as per the regulations of the department of PUE. Failure to comply with this condition, the student will not be permitted to take the annual examination.

The rule does not permit even the principal to condone shortage of attendance. Hence parents and students are earnestly requested to take serious note to this rule. The college will notify the list of students running short of attendance on the notice board every month.

The parents will also be informed of this by post or over phone. Alert parents can certainly avert any mishap in this regard. Therefore parents are requested to give correct postal address and contact numbers in the application form.

The government has provided scholarship facility for SC and ST and merit scholarship for students of OBC. Desirable students may avail such facilities.
