Overview
Bezbaruah H S School, being one among the oldest schools in Assam, was established in 1888 by Dina Nath Bezbaruah. Govinda Chandra Bezbaruah became the first Headmaster of the school. Initially the school limited the delivery of education up to junior high as it was a high school but as years and achievement progressed, in 1994 Higher Secondary was adjoined and science was the first stream in this noble introduction. Since 19th century the days of its glory has never seemed to shy away from the very eminence it had based its foundation in. The school has come a long way to the 21st century with the utmost dedication of its accomplished and virtuous teaching and non-teaching staff. The history of the school`s performance in academic and extra-curricular activities shine in its own right as we bear witness to its unfaltering superior positions among the district and in the state of Assam itself.
