Business Administration/Management, Computer Sciences, and Information Technology, Engineering, Nursing, Travel Tourism, and Hospitality , and other fields are taught at the college. The famous Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Charitable Trust has launched Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU Jaipur) (RUJCT). It is the first Indian university to provide purely skill-based programs and has established itself as a premier education provider with a primary focus on comprehensive skills training based on the Swiss Dual System and utilizing machinery and equipment from the top manufacturers across the world. As a result, BSDU is able to instill excellence in skill development and competitive talents in its students. Bhartiya Skill Development Institution is a multidisciplinary skills university that offers B.Voc, M.Voc, and Ph.D. degrees in a variety of skills fields. BSDU also provides programs in Skill Certificates, Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Post-Graduate Diplomas, and Specialized Training in a variety of skill disciplines. The UGC Instructions for Vocational Programs, the National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF), and the instructions issued by various Sector Skill Councils (SSC), which include the applicable National Occupational Standards (NOS) and Qualification Packs, are all followed by BSDU programs (QP). BSDU takes pride in being India`s first pure skills university, offering world-class skills training from its campuses in Mahindra World City, Jaipur. Skill schools Thirteen Skill Schools are housed at Bhartiya Skill Development University (BSDU Jaipur), which are aware of the diversity of skill courses and are a vital element of the university`s aim to flourish for global excellence in skill development. The Skill Schools set the tone at the University by combining innovative and engaging teaching techniques, a globally benchmarked skill curriculum, and a real mix of Swiss and Indian faculty members to create an international ambiance in a local environment. This is critical to India`s development of a multidisciplinary, research-driven skill education ecosystem. Swiss Dual System The whole training is based on the Swiss Dual System , which consists of "On-the-Job Training" and "Vocational School," which has been implemented after making necessary adjustments to suit the Indian business. There are around 247 trades accessible for skill development in Switzerland. Following in its footsteps, BSDU is now preparing to provide such inter-industry courses to the Indian youth. In contrast to the Swiss model, which lasts three to four years, the BSDU model is a three-year degree program with two semesters every year, with the first, third, and fifth semesters at BSDU and the second, fourth, and sixth semesters in the industry. BSDU Model Of Skills education The UGC has approved B.Voc programs based on the National Skill Qualification Framework to address the important skill set requirements and prepare people for employment. It`s a fantastic chance to help shape the careers of young people in relevant skill areas. BSDU has developed a B.Voc program that consists of 60% Skills and 40% General Education. The Skill component essentially covers the abilities required in a certain skill area and is nearly entirely hands-on work using cutting-edge machinery and equipment acquired from the world`s leading companies. Every other semester, students are assigned to an industry internship to augment their university education. Approvals The University was established by the Rajasthan government under State Legislature Act No. 3 of 2017 (Bhartiya Skill Development University Jaipur Act 2017) and was notified by Notification No. F.2(4) Vidhi/2017 dated March 30, 2017. Under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956, the University Grants Commission sanctioned the establishment of Bhartiya Skill Development University Jaipur.
