The Backward Class Youth Relief Committee (BCYRC), established in 1990, stands as a monumental testament to the power of structured philanthropy and educational reform. At its core, the Trust was forged with a singular, profound objective; the socio-economic and intellectual up-liftment of students from marginalized communities and the underserved rural hinterlands of Maharashtra. The architect of this noble mission late Shri Bhausaheb Govindrao Mulak was a statesman of unparalleled distinction.

Serving as a Minister for the Government of Maharashtra and the Mayor of Nagpur Municipal Corporation, he brought a wealth of administrative acumen and a deep-seated humanitarian pulse to the organization. As a visionary who recognized that education is the ultimate equalizer, he steered the Trust away from mere charity towards the establishment of robust, sustainable Institutions of conventional and professional excellence.
