The college has been accorded recognition by University Grant Commission, New Delhi. The college is managed by M.P.Shah Education Society,Kadi. It is the only college in Kadi taluka imparting higher education in the commerce stream. It has produced number of business professionals and entrepreneur in the region. The strong business acumen of the people of this area is nurtured by the college, and it has contributed notably to the growth and development of Kadi taluka. The town Kadi has historical importance in the state of Gujarat. It was ruled by the Marathas and was considered an important place for commerce and business.
