Overview

Canara Pre-University College was founded in 1972 and serves both boys and girls without regard to caste, creed, or religion. The institution offers two-year pre-university programs in commerce (BSBA, BEBA, CSBA, SEBA, and HEBA) and science (PCMB, PCMC, PCME, PCMS). The school makes every effort to establish an environment in which each student may discover and realize his or her full potential. In order for students to develop into honorable people who can achieve their goals in this competitive world, the school focuses not just on intellectual progress, but also on character development and discipline. Canara Pre-University College emphasizes the development of soft skills in all students and concentrates on the entire development of its students` personalities. Every student is encouraged to engage in one of the various co-curricular activities offered by the institution. ACADEMIC Counselor For Academic Questions: Every class will have an Academic Counsellor who will serve as a friend, philosopher, and mentor to all of the students entrusted to his or her particular care. Bank Of Books: This program is designed to assist economically disadvantaged students who cannot afford to purchase pricey textbooks by allowing them to borrow them from the Book Bank for the academic year. System Of Communication: The College provides parents with convenient access to their children`s attendance through an SMS service. Lecturers and parents receive SMS alerts concerning college notices. The college website, which is updated on a regular basis, provides a comprehensive perspective of the institution`s activities. Medical facilities: All of this institution`s eligible students are covered by the "Safety Insurance Policy," for which the college pays the premium from the `Parent-Teacher Association fund. Rehabilitation Classes: Remedial classes are held with the goal of improving student performance and assisting slow learners. Scholarships: Needy and deserving students receive government and college scholarships. Dress Code: On all working days, students are required to wear the college uniform and present their I.D. card at all times on the college campus. Students who do not have the required uniform or I.D. card will not be permitted to enter the school. Admission Admissions & Application: On the college campus, application forms are available. In the period allotted, properly filled application forms should be registered at the college office. Admission will not be considered if the application form is incomplete, illegible, or overwritten. The mere submission of an application form does not guarantee admission. Once selected, the optional subject and II language cannot be changed under any circumstances. Kannada will be the medium of instruction for Sanskrit. Provisional selection will be made based on the candidate`s academic records and curriculum vitae. Before being admitted, a list of provisionally selected applicants will be posted on the college notice board. These individuals will be required to present for a personal interview with the Dean for final selection at the time specified. Application Form Submission: Students must attend the interview with their parents and give a written response. Any differences in government fees will be collected afterward. The fees will not be returned once they have been paid. Payment Methods Only checks are accepted.
