Overview

Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) Centre at Bihta is being established jointly by Govt. of India and Govt. of Bihar with a total Project Cost of Rs. 84 Crores. Moreover 10 Acres of Land has been allotted by Industries Department, Govt. of Bihar at Sikandarpur Industrial Area, Bihta, Patna for establishment of the Centre. CIPET: IPT - Bihta, Patna established in 2024, with first batch of UG started in 2024 in its magnificent campus at Sikandarpur Industrial Area in the district of Patna, Bihar. The nearest railway station is Bihta about 4 kilometers from the institute campus and about 30 KM from Patna a railway junction the state capital and major business and Educational hub of the state. Objective of the Centre is to offer Long Term Under Graduate and Post Graduate Academic Programs in the field of Petrochemicals, Chemical, Mechanical, Polymer Waste management Engineering & Technology to meet the high-end manpower requirements of Petrochemicals, Polymer and allied industries in the region.
