CHAKRADHARA CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL TRUST(CCET) is a trust with a vision. CHAKRADHARA INSTITUTE OF REHBILITATION SCIENCES (CIRS),situated at Bilipada,Near Gudiapokhari Chhak Bhubaneswar, Orissa is the first brain child of CCET, which aims at alleviating pain and disability of patients on one hand and providing value based technical education in PHYSIOTHERAPY,OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY AND ORTHOTICS & PROSTHETICS on the other through a synthesis of science, technology and human values that will provide them a scope of employment. It is unique of its kind in the state of Orissa in the sense that it is the only private institution of the state envisaging a composite approach for TOTAL REHABILITATION on Scientific lines to ensure WHOLE LIFE perspective by enhancing the quality of life of the persons with disabilities(PWD). In a developing country like India , there is increase in the demand of Physiotherapy and Prosthetis&Orthotics. The need of Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy and Orthotics & Prosthetics has increased recently and it is on the rise due to advances in these fields.
