Overview
China Three Gorges University (CTGU) is a well-reputed university founded on 29th June 2000 through the merger of Hubei Sanxia University and the University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering. At present, it comprises 30 colleges covering a large number of fields of education. It holds the membership of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI). The programmes offered by the university are taught in English, as well as Chinese. It is recognized by China`s Ministry of Education (MOE). The university is counted amongst the country`s leading educational institutions. Located in Yichang City of China`s Hubei province, the CTGU campus is spread across an area of 200 hectares.
