Daksha PU College - Mysuru is promoted by the "Global Education Trust" registered and established in Mysuru. The college is located in an eight-acre verdant campus located beside the Mysuru - Mangalore highway, surrounded by residential layouts and industrial establishments in the city of Mysuru renowned for its heritage, rich culture, historical places, academic organization and research institutions. Our students are from the various domain of the community, rural and urban, so here we provide a cosmopolitan environment, committed service in quality education and the college offers a world-class Pre-university programme for boys and girls. Daksha PU College facilitates PU Science education integrated with CET, NEET & JEE and PU Commerce education with value-added modules as necessary for the holistic development of every commerce student, provided to the highest possible quality levels by experienced and dedicated faculty. Combinations Offered : Each combination offers four core subjects within the area of their choice in addition to language studies. Any one of amongst Kannada, Hindi and Sanskrit can opt as the first language and English, as a second language, is compulsory. The PU Science curriculum is integrated with coaching for competitive exams, viz. JEE, NEET & K-CET respectively. For the holistic development of every Commerce student, value additional modules in language & communication skills, personality development and job oriented professional courses are progressively provided. World Class Infrastructure : Daksha PU College is an ideal institute in every sense of ambience of the world with all necessary facilities and infrastructure which makes it one of the best residential college in Mysore. Resident Students Daily Schedule : Student life is not the same at Daksha PU College. To keep students abuzz with activities, the college provides numerous student development programmes . Ample encouragements are given to the student to participate in Clubs and Associations, Music and Dance, Theatre and Photography, Debates and Discussions, Creative writing, Publishing and other Personality Development programmes. The resident students daily activity starts early morning at 05.00 AM until 10.59 PM with sleep time from 11.00 PM to 04.59 AM. The time period between 05.00 AM to 10.59 PM includes yoga / physical exercise, morning physical rituals, study hours, breakfast, pre-lunch regular class hours, lunch break, post-lunch regular class hours, snack break, study hours, dinner break and focused study hours. Focused study classes are dedicated to weaker students / slow learners, attended and supported by the respective subject teacher/specialist. In order to achieve holistic growth and development of every student (Physical, Mental & Emotional), Yoga, sports and fitness activities form a part of the curriculum. Counselling Cell : Experienced counsellors and faculty guide and assist students throughout their study at the institute, providing appropriate assistance at each stage of the student`s development, growth and progress. The process help students develop their knowledge; guide them in thinking about their interests, values, competencies, and personal characteristics. Counsellors provide a confidential atmosphere in which students can explore any topic or situation and discuss any concerns they may have. Students are helped to work through their problems, to develop self-awareness, and to overcome problems by using new strategies. Adventures & Excursions : Adventure is a physical challenge, a simple desire to pick a patch and measure up to the terrain and the elements. The Adventure Component adds the spice of uncertainty, raising the stakes for students to test themselves of their physical and mental abilities in unfamiliar territory. The institution facilitates extra-curricular activities periodically during holidays. The institution stands supportive of the ideas of organizing study tours for the graduate students for experimental learning.
