Overview
Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) is a renowned medical institution located in Darbhanga, Bihar, India. It is one of the oldest and prestigious medical colleges in the state, providing excellent education and healthcare services to the region since its establishment. DMCH was established in 1946 and initially started as a private institution. Later, it was taken over by the Government of Bihar and became a government-run medical college. The college is affiliated with the Aryabhatta Knowledge University and recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses, including Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), and various diploma programs.
