About Deepshikha Institute for Child Development and Mental Health A Unit of Purshree

Deepshikha Institute for Child Development and Mental Health A Unit of Purshree is a private institute in Ranchi, Jharkhand, established in 1988. Campusbells lists it under Engineering.

Spreading awareness on disability rights, support, and inclusion across communities.

A transparent reflection of our promise to uplift, support, and empower communities.

Deepshikha aims to work for child development and mental health by developing models of clinical services, education, skill training and advocacy.

Deepshikha began its journey in 1988 with a simple yet powerful vision—to support children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. What started in the drawing room of a founder member has grown into one of Jharkhand’s most respected institutions in the field of child development and mental health. Over the years, Deepshikha has become a beacon of hope for families by offering therapy, education, and advocacy. Our commitment has remained the same: creating inclusive spaces where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

I’m Anju Devi from Bokaro, mother of Rajmat. We joined Deepshikha in 2023 after noticing delayed milestones and hyperactivity in my son. With regular therapy and education, his behavior and understanding have improved a lot.
