Overview

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Education Society, Nagpur was established and registered under the Public Trust Act and the Society Registration Act in 1973. It was established by the founder member, honorable Late Shri M. D. Mundafale. Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Arts & Commerce (Evening) College, Nagpur was established in 1984 to cater to the educational needs of working-class, economically backward, and marginalized students by providing higher education during evening hours. It is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), Nagpur. Presently, the college operates under the inspiring guidance of honorable Smt. Rajashree M. Mundafale, Working President of Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Memorial Education Society, Nagpur, and Principal Dr. Aachal G. Parekh (Mundafale). The primary objective of the college is to make available Arts & Commerce education facilities to poor and economically underprivileged students, especially those who are employed during daytime hours at various public and private organizations.
