Being a co-educational institute situated on the National Highway NH-121 in the remote area of State Uttarakhand. The College caters to the need of Higher Education of both male and female students living in adjoining villages. The College was established in the year 1979 bearing the name as “Dr. S.N.N. Government Degree College Vedikhal, Pauri Garhwal”. Initially, the College started with 02 faculties in the Humanities Stream.
