Welcome to Dr. V. R. Godhaniya I.T. College, Porbandar - a vibrant hub of innovation, technology, and excellence. Bifurcated in 2017, our institution was created to meet the rising demand for quality Information Technology education in the region. Growing out of the esteemed Dr. Virambhai Godhaniya College of Arts, Commerce, Home Science & Information Technology, we now operate from our state-of-the-art campus opposite the New Airport Building, designed to inspire learning and creativity. Our academic journey is built upon a strong legacy. For nearly two decades (1999–2016), IT education was offered as a dedicated self-financed department under the parent institution, affiliated with Saurashtra University, Rajkot. During this period, we nurtured thousands of students through industry-relevant programs such as BCA, B.Sc. (IT) (formerly BIT), PGDCA, DCS, and M.Sc. (IT & CA). The roots of our excellence go even deeper.
