Overview
Established in 1975, the Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT) is a government-run institution of higher education in New Zealand. Originally founded as the Hawke`s Bay Community College, the institution`s name was changed to Hawke`s Bay Polytechnic in 1987. It was in the year 1996 that the institution adopted its current name.
