Emmanuel College of B.Ed Training, Vazhichal is founded to equip the scholastics in various disciplines and to impart professional based training mainly to the young people in the most backward area in Thiruvananthapuram district. This college is affiliated to the University of Kerala and recognized by the Government of Kerala and N.C.T.E. This college is recognized self financed institution and managed by the Catholic Educational and Charitable Society (Reg.No.409/82). Emmanuel College of B.Ed Training, Vazhichal is situated on a hill-top amidst thick lush green plantations far and nearer, along deep and fertile valleys, surrounded by endless mountain rangers on one side and imposing gigantic granite rocks across the valley on the other. This most beautiful, serene and charming atmosphere and the enchanting surrounding of the college are most suitable for any serious intellectual activity and academic pursuits. Vazhichal lies 35km east of Thiruvananthapuram. Admission to B.Ed. course is governed by the guidelines issued by the University of Kerala and NCTE.
