Ujjawal Bharat Trust resolved to sponsor a Teachers' Training College in the year 2007, to cater to the need of Teacher's Training from the session 2008-09, an imperative need of the large number of untrained graduates of the region and to make them qualified to seek employment as well as to provide opportunity in securing secured future and to meet the ever-growing demand of trained teachers at the Secondary and Higher Secondary level for the State of Jharkhand and the Country as the whole. The Management of the College is very much consious of the fact that Gautam Buddha Teachers' Training College, Mukundganj, Hazaribag should be a model institution in the national context which may bloom into one of the best centres of vocational education of the country and thus a symbol of glory for the Chhotanagpur region. We are very much grateful to the Almighty that Gautam Buddha Teachers' Training College has been growing from height to height in the field of vocational education.
