Overview

Govt. Dental College Thiruvananthapuram, the first Government Dental College in the state, started in the year 1959. Over the decades, the college has earned the reputation of being the best dental college in the State and South India. The college is affiliated to the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS), Thrissur from 2010 admission onwards. Until then, the institution was under the University of Kerala. The institute offers dental and oral health care education and patient service at multiple levels. To create dental professionals who are leaders with humanitarian considerations, communication skills, and a thirst for knowledge who will impart international standards of patient care to the society. Integrity, Compassion to Society and Dedication to the Dental Profession with global standard practices are the core values which we focus on in a student.
