Overview
Government Polytechnic, Ahmedabad was established in the year 1954 and has been a pioneer among all state government polytechnic institutes offering diplomas in Technical Education, in Gujarat state. It is one of the oldest educational institutes of the World Heritage city of Ahmedabad. The institute offers Fourteen different diploma programmes under Commissionerate of Technical Education (CTE) and is affiliated with Gujarat Technological University(GTU). The institute is located right in the heart of the city and has been for many years, the first choice among students for their admission. To be a leading technical institute that provides transformative education to learners for achieving competency as per the need of industry, society and contributing in building nation. To act as a catalyst for achieving academic excellence by bringing stake holders on same platform.
