Government College Karsog, District Mandi (HP) was established in the year 1994 by the Government of Himachal Pradesh to fulfil the foremost objective of establishing an institution of higher educational facilities for the needy students of this remote area. Trotting on with toddling steps, the college started its journey with 187 students and the number has risen to 2336 enrolled students in the session 2022-2023. The college was accredited ‘B’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council in 2011 and retained a ‘B’ Grade in 2017. The institution is recognized by the UGC and is covered under sections 2(f) and 12 (b) of the UGC Act 1956. Looking back, the college feels proud of its rich history & heritage. The picturesquely beautiful campus of Government College Karsog sprawling over more than three acres nestles in the lap of nature.
