The Government College, Rajpur, located in the tribal-dominated area of Balrampur district, has been established on June 28, 2010. With the guidance of the government and the valuable cooperation of citizens and public representatives. The college is moving towards continuous progress. The college is situated in a beautiful place Balrampur, which is one of the districts of Chhattisgarh and is surrounded by natural beauty and is very rich from the biodiversity point of view. The institution provides the opportunity of getting groomed with the best of Education, Sports, and Extra-curricular activities as well as the overall personality development of the young aspirants. The college building is currently located on the Ambikapur-Ramanujganj main road (NH343). This college is affiliated with Sant Gahira Guru Vishwavidyalaya, Sarguja, Ambikapur (C.G.), which is a higher education institute in Northern Chhattisgarh. The college, which began in a school building in 2010 with Arts, Commerce, and Science faculties, moved to its own campus in 2014.
