About Govt. Women's College

Govt. Women's College is a government college in Puri, Odisha, established in 1961. It is affiliated to Rama Devi Women's University, Bhubaneswar. Campusbells lists it under General.

Transparency in all transactions - academic or otherwise - is a hallmark of this college. There is a grievance redressal mechanism in operation, and an alumni association of the college is in the process of being formed. An academic planner is circulated among students at the beginning of every academic session so as to enable them to manage their workload and responsibility. Monthly review meetings take stock of progress. The college has tie-ups with various NGOs, and international organizations, in order to promote extension activities.

As we continue on our journey of academic excellence, I encourage our students, faculty, and staff to strive for innovation, creativity, and critical thinking. Let us work together to foster a culture of inclusivity, respect, and open communication. I am proud of the progress we have made so far, and I am excited about the prospects that lie ahead. Our institution has always been committed to providing a holistic education that prepares our students for success in all aspects of life.
