Overview

The University of Gulbarga (GUG) was founded in 1980 in the Karnataka State of Hyderabad, with five districts within the Karnataka State Act`s authority. Since the 1970s, Karnataka University has served as the master of Dharwad. Then there`s the University of Gulbarga, which boasts an 860-acre campus in Jnanaganga. Gulbarga University is located east of the city. In Krishnadevarayanagar, Bellary, Gnanatunga Raichur, Jnanakaranji Bidar, and Sarana Sahitya Kendra, the university has 38 postgraduate departments and four postgraduate centers. The institution has 3500 students enrolled in master`s programmes in a variety of fields. M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees have also aided research investigations. There are 160 academics on staff, as well as 700 faculty and non-teaching employees. The university offers undergraduate and diploma programmes in the arts, vision, music, sociology and technology, and commerce in 407 colleges. There are departments for education and law. Amrita Amma is the motto of the university`s gold. Gulbarga University has been to the University of Hyderabad in the Karnataka area with the goal of inspiring and educating the university`s students via nectar.
