Guru BrahmaNand Ji Govt. Polytechnic, Nilokheri is a premier technical institute approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to HSBTE, Panchkula. Located 143 km from Delhi on NH-1, the institute has been shaping engineers for over seven decades.

Originally established as the Government School of Engineering in Rasool (West Punjab), the institute was relocated after partition — first to Chhachrauli (Yamunanagar), then re-established at its permanent location in Nilokheri in 1951. Two parallel institutes merged in 1958 on the recommendation of the Government of India to form Punjab Polytechnic, Nilokheri.

Following the reorganization of states on November 1, 1966, it was renamed Haryana Polytechnic, Nilokheri and later designated as Govt. Polytechnic Nilokheri. In recent years, it was renamed Guru BrahmaNand Ji Govt. Polytechnic to honor the local saint.
