Overview

Hem Chandra Dev Goswami (H.C.D.G.) College is situated at Nitaipukhuri under Sivasagar District of Upper Assam. The HCDG College is a provincialised institution affiliated to Dibrugarh University, Assam. The college was established in 1965. It was brought under Grant-in-Aid scheme on 1st July 1977. Finally in September 1998 the college got registered under 2(f) and 12(b) clause of University Grant Commission. In 2003, the college also got the permanent affiliation of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, Guwahati. The College has been making continuous efforts to face the new challenges in the field of higher education and achieve excellence in the changed scenario of higher education.
