Overview
The merger of Hebei United University and North China Coal Medical University resulted in one very large prestigious government university recognized by WHO. It offers educational programs at an affordable price. In 1998, the university transformed into a co-administered unit by the Government of Hebei Province and the Coal Ministry, primarily co-administered by the former. Hebei United University is one of the 10 key universities of Hebei Province, China. It is located at the center of Bohai Bay Rim in the most promising city Tangshan, with picturesque Yanshan Mountains to the north and the Bohai Sea to the south.
