Overview

Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) was established by the Swami Rama Himalayan University Act, 2012 (Uttarakhand State Act No. 12 of 2013), and with the enactment of the Uttarakhand Private University Act, 2023 (Uttarakhand Act No. 02 of 2024), it now stands incorporated and established under the provisions of the Uttarakhand Private University Act, 2023. The Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust is the promoting society of SRHU. To transform lives by nurturing excellence in the creation and dissemination of knowledge through education, research, innovation and technology besides providing multidimensional humanitarian opportunities for social upliftment in accordance with the ideals of Swami Rama.
