Overview
The Ministry of Education, Government of India, designated the Indian Institute of Information Technology Sri City, Chittoor (IIITS) as an Institute of National Importance by an Act of Parliament in 2013. IIITS is a teaching, research, and development institute that is one of India`s 20 information technology institutes. IIITS The Government of India, the Government of Andhra Pradesh, and Industry Partners represented by Sri City Foundation founded the Institute as a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) organization. A Board of Governors made up of significant government, corporate, and academic personalities oversee the Institute. IIITS offers B. Tech, M. Tech, M.S., and Ph. D. programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering. IIITS has a strong reputation for UG-led research, with the goal of developing technology-related research that can address real-world issues and have a good influence on our daily lives. The Institute also provides students with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to actively participate in research that will aid in the development of an inventive and entrepreneurial attitude.
