Overview
Institute of Science & Technology for Advanced Studies & Research, abbreviated as ISTAR, is established as a center of quality education offering 13 Post-Graduate Programs, 01 PG Diploma Course & PhD Programs in 07 Disciplines. The Institute has been established in 1999 by Charutar Vidya Mandal (CVM), an Educational Society. Charutar Vidya Mandal had established The CVM University with mission of an equal opportunity to pursue excellence in Education and Research in a conducive environment, which is culturally rich with a legacy of eminence in building character and strength of mind while standing for sustainability by the efforts of qualified and committed faculty members of ISTAR. CVM has a mission of reinvigorating society through quality education. Since 1947 CVM has established over 49 institutions proving itself highly responsive to the changing socio economic environment by venturing into various emerging disciplines under the continuous dynamic leadership of Late Shri Bhaikaka, Late Shri Bhikhabhai Saheb, Late Dr. H.M. Patel and Late Dr. C.L. Patel.
