Overview

Build up the Theoretical Knowledge of Prospective and Practicing Teachers with the Philosophical, Sociological, Psychological, Technological and Historical background of Educational Theory and Practices. A Voluntary organization under the name of Anjuman Islamia Kishtwar established a school in a missionary spirit since 1905 in Kishtwar. Later on, trust namely Islamia faridiya Educational and Research Institute. Kishtwar was registered under the Public Trust Act Samavat 1977(1920 AD) in replacement of Anjuman Islamia.The members of the trust has done yeoman’s services to the society in Kishtwar. The Control of the organization was handed over to Auqaf Committee Kishtwar in 1978 after the promulgation of Wakf 1978 and subsequently it become a constituent of J&K Wakf Council in 2001 under J&K Wakf Act 2001.In order to diversify the academic activities of the institution the organization (Trust) decided to set up a college of Education in Kishtwar imparting Institution in B.Ed. Course of the University of Jammu in 2001.
