Overview

A group of Sindhi ladies displaced from West Pakistan, due to partition of our country in the year 1947, started social work in the direction of imparting Education to Sindhi children. They named their organization as "POONA REFUGEE RELIEF COMMITTEE". This trust was registered with Assistant Charity Commissioner, Poona Region, Poona vide Certificate of Registration No.31299 dated 06.10.1955. The number in the register of Public Trusts with Assistant Charity Commissioner is A-863. This registration has been done under the provision of The Bombay Public Trusts Act, 1950. Jai Hind High School and Junior College has always aimed to bring out the best from every student by imbibing in them the qualities of Honesty, Generosity and Strength of character that our emblem stands for. Jai Hind prepares students to understand, contribute and succeed in a rapidly changing society thus making the world the better place to live in. It caters to the growing globalization and needs of the changing world, to develop a holistic yet eclectic view by developing ideas from important values handed over from one generation to another.
