Jamunamukh College: A Journey of Hope and Progress Introduction: Jamunamukh, a beautiful locality in Assam, has long been known for its fertile land, agriculture, and farming activities such as pisciculture. With fresh food, clean air, and natural surroundings, it has always been a healthy place to live. But while the people here had good health and livelihood, there was a major gap—lack of higher education facilities.

For decades, after completing schooling up to Class 12, students had little choice but to leave Jamunamukh in search of higher studies. This created financial and emotional challenges for many families. Only a few could afford the expenses, while others had to give up their dreams.

It was in response to this need that Jamunamukh College was established in 1995, bringing higher education within the reach of the local community. The Background of Jamunamukh:-  Known for agriculture, rice cultivation, vegetables, fruits, and pisciculture.  A locality rich in natural resources but lacking in higher education.
