Affiliated to the University of Mysore & Re-Accredited by NAAC with 'B+' Grade (CGPA-2.74) Jagadguru Sri Shivarathreeshwara Mahavidyapeetha (JSSMVP), Parent institution of the college, an institution of international acclaim was founded by His Holiness Jagadguru Dr. Sri Shivarathri Rajendra Mahaswamiji established in the year 1954 which was registered under the Societies Registration Act 1960. It is striving for social development by responding to the community needs. It strongly believes that unless the problems of the socially backward communities and the poor are solved, there cannot be social development. With this objective, several development initiatives at the same time living up to its principle of ‘Work is worship’ and is engaged in raising public awareness on issues of social concern. JSSMVP adopts a multipronged approach to ensure a better quality of life. Through its over 350 varied institutions, it not only provides learning to over 90,000 students but also touches the lives of millions through a cascading effect.
