K. R Desai Arts & Commerce College is situated opp. PTC, Dahod Road in Jhalod town. Jhalod is a taluka (tehsil) place in Dahod district of Gujarat, bordering Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. Dahod is an identified tribal district of Gujarat. Jhalod is very well connected by road to all the other parts of the state as well as the country. The nearest railway station is at Dahod, only 32 kms from Jhalod, having train facility to connect to all the major cities of India. The nearest airport is at Vadodara. The college holds a special value as it has been catering to the higher education needs of majority of the tribal students since its establishment on 15th June 1990. It is a grant-in-aid co-educational institution. It is managed by Jhalod Vidya Samaj Trust.
