Kalyani Government Engineering College (KGEC), established in 1995 by the Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, is recognized as one of Eastern India’s premier technical institutions. Spread over an expansive 75-acre verdant campus in the planned educational city of Kalyani, Nadia district, the college provides an intellectually rigorous academic atmosphere that blends core engineering fundamentals with cutting-edge technological inquiry. KGEC operates under the administrative authority of the Government of West Bengal, is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
