Overview

Sri Arunai Educational Trust, established with a strong commitment to social service and quality education, founded Kamalakshi Pandurangan College of Pharmacy (KPCP) in 1993 to promote professional pharmacy education in and around Tiruvannamalai District. The Trust focuses on providing ethical, value-based, and affordable education, especially to students from rural and underserved regions. KPCP is a co-educational institution located about 7 km from Tiruvannamalai town on the Tiruvannamalai–Bengaluru National Highway. It is the first pharmacy college in this region, serving students from four surrounding districts. Tiruvannamalai is renowned for its spiritual heritage, centered around the sacred Arunachaleswara Temple and Arunachala Hill, and is known worldwide for the annual Karthigai Deepam Festival, reflecting the district’s cultural and spiritual values. The college offers Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), and Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm-Pharmaceutics) programmes.
